348-unit Icon Apartment Homes at Ferguson Farm apartment complex moves forward in west Bozeman
A planned 348-unit housing complex on Bozeman’s west side moved forward after the local investment and development firm behind the project submitted a formal application to the Bozeman city planning office.
The “highly amenitized” Icon Apartment Homes at Ferguson Farm, located off Huffine Lane near the intersection of Resort Drive and Babcock Street, will include a combination of one-, two- and three-bedroom units — some with attached garages — 683 on-site parking spaces, as well as a two-story, 8,000-square-foot resort-style clubhouse and 1.8-acre park and recreation area open to the public.
The developer, Braxton and Klein Capital Partners is currently finalizing the purchase of the 20-acre parcel from Delaney and Company, the development firm behind Ferguson Farm, The Village Downtown and Montana Ale Works.
The Icon Apartment Homes at Ferguson Farm will all be rental units, and will cater to several different clienteles, including young professionals, families and college students.
Pending approval by the city, construction could begin as early as next summer, with the first phase of units finished by spring 2019. The city will require the group to finance street upgrades to stretches of Babcock and Resort Drive if the project moves forward.
